In industrial production, controlling powder particle size directly impacts downstream molding quality and mixing uniformity. The Vibrating Powder Screening Machine is used to complete powder material grading, impurity filtration, and large particle screening. This equipment adapts to dry fine powders, electrostatic lightweight powders, easily agglomerated dry powders, and material particles containing slight moisture. The screening mesh size covers 2 mesh to 500 mesh (aperture from 8 mm to 25 microns), with a single machine processing capacity ranging between 50 kg and 5 tons per hour, depending on material specific gravity, moisture content, and target mesh size.

Equipment operation relies on a vertical vibration motor as its power source. Eccentric heavy hammers installed at both upper and lower ends of the motor convert the motor's rotary motion into a three-dimensional continuous motion (horizontal, vertical, and inclined). This 3D motion is transmitted to the screen mesh surface, prompting the powder on the mesh to perform an outward spiral dispersion motion. Coarse particles remain on the mesh surface and are discharged from the upper discharge port, while fine powders meeting the aperture requirements fall through the mesh holes into the next layer or bottom outlet. Adjusting the phase angle (0° to 90°) of the upper and lower eccentric blocks can change the running track and retention time of the material on the mesh surface to adapt to the separation requirements of materials with different fluidities.

The table below lists the technical parameters of standard Dahan models for equipment selection reference:
| Model | Screen Diameter (mm) | Number of Layers | Screening Mesh Size | Motor Power (kW) | Processing Capacity (kg/h) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| DH-400 | 400 | 1 - 3 | 2 - 400 | 0.25 | 50 - 200 |
| DH-600 | 600 | 1 - 4 | 2 - 500 | 0.55 | 100 - 500 |
| DH-800 | 800 | 1 - 4 | 2 - 500 | 0.75 | 300 - 1200 |
| DH-1000 | 1000 | 1 - 5 | 2 - 500 | 1.10 | 500 - 2500 |
| DH-1200 | 1200 | 1 - 5 | 2 - 500 | 1.50 | 800 - 3500 |
| DH-1500 | 1500 | 1 - 5 | 2 - 500 | 2.20 | 1000 - 5000 |
1. Select diameter based on processing capacity: Choose DH-600 or DH-800 for capacities below 500 kg/h; choose DH-1200 or DH-1500 for capacities exceeding 2 t/h.
2. Select system based on material characteristics: If the material is finer than 200 mesh (75 microns) or prone to static electricity and clogging, an ultrasonic anti-blocking system must be added to the standard model.
3. Select model based on contact material: Choose full 316L stainless steel for acid/alkali corrosive materials; choose 304 stainless steel for parts in contact with standard materials.
Dahan screening equipment is applied in fields such as metal powder metallurgy, battery cathode/anode materials, coatings/pigments, resin powders, bakery flour, and starch processing.

Case 2: Epoxy Resin Powder (De-agglomeration and Impurity Removal)

Industrial powder screening frequently encounters problems like mesh blinding, powder leakage, and time-consuming screen mesh replacements. Dahan Machine has implemented structural and manufacturing detail improvements:

The equipment serves three purposes: impurity removal (eliminating oversized particles, foreign matter, or agglomerates in fine powders); grading (utilizing multi-layer meshes to separate the same powder into multiple size specifications); and liquid-solid separation (filtering out insoluble suspended particles in slurry).
For coarse powders below 200 mesh (75 microns) or free-flowing granules, a standard 3D vibrating screen with bouncing balls suffices. If the material fineness ranges between 200 mesh and 500 mesh, or if the material exhibits hygroscopic, strong electrostatic, highly sticky, or lightweight properties, an ultrasonic vibrating screen is necessary.
Screening generally refers to coarse separation processes with larger particles and capacities, often used for ores, construction materials, or coarse bulk materials. Sifting generally refers to impurity removal and homogenization grading of micro-powders and fine powders, common in food ingredients and fine chemical powders. In equipment contexts, these terms are often used interchangeably.
Equipment cost is determined by four factors:
